When I ask Alexa to play Spotify on my 2nd Dot, it says 'Playing from Spotify', but then there is complete silence. I also no longer see the 2nd Echo Dot as an option in Spotify Connect through the app (either iOS or desktop), though the first Dot is still there (as well as the multi-room group). To use Alexa, open the app, and click the Alexa icon before you start speaking. A few PCs support hands-free Alexa use, meaning you can simply speak “Alexa” to activate Amazon’s voice assistant.

When you firmly press the app from the Home screen, you might see options to Resume Download, Pause Download, or Cancel Download. If the app download is paused, tap Resume Download. If it's stuck, tap Pause Download, then firmly press the app again and tap Resume Download.

Restart your device
